Campers will see Manchester City vs. Waydad at Lincoln Financial Field. Cheer on the UEFA league champions as we welcome some of the best football players from Europe!
If soccer isn’t their favorite, campers can choose a baseball option and root on the 2019 World Champion Washington Nationals as they take on the Colorado Rockies for a Major League day game.
Later in the week, campers will travel to Wonderfly Arena. This arena allows campers to play games as a team, including Bubble Ball, Hamster Ball, Arrow Tag, and more. It's not just a venue…its an experience! -
Circus Week (6/23 - 6/27)
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls……get ready for life in the Circus! This week campers travel to Wahoo Flying Trapeze in Philadelphia where campers will actually learn how to perform flying trapeze! Theatre Week (7/14 - 7/18)
“What I love about theatre is that it disappears as it happens.”
Halfway through the summer and we arrive at theatre week. Some campers will have a special option they can choose from that is only offered every few years….that is the Broadway Experience!
Our older campers (Group B only) can opt to choose the Broadway Experience and travel to New York City. They will attend a choreographed workshop at Disney Studios on the Upper East Side where they will learn the main song/dance to Disney’s The Lion King. Followed by a matinee show of The Lion King on Broadway. Afterwards, we will have dinner in Times Square at Tony Di Napoli’s for an authentic Italian dinner, before heading home.
The other option for both groups (Group A & B) is a summer matinee at The Children’s Playhouse of Maryland. Here they will see their summer production of Beetlejuice. This special production is cast entirely of young aspiring actors from around the Baltimore area, and is the premiere program in our area.
Later on this week campers will participate in a theater workshop at camp based on Improv. Campers will work with theater director Christy Brooks as they learn the art of improvisation and hone their skills with different improv games. We can’t wait to see the creativity of our campers in action. -
